In response to Prime Minister’s initiative of swachh bharat pakhwada from June 16 to 30, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd Telangana & Andhra Pradesh state office organised a cyclothon event in association with Hyderabad bicycling club and walkathon on June 19 at necklace road to spread the awareness for a cleaner environment.   

In response to Prime Minister’s initiative of swachh bharat pakhwada from June 16 to 30, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd Telangana & Andhra Pradesh state office organised a cyclothon event in association with Hyderabad bicycling club and walkathon on June 19 at necklace road to spread the awareness for a cleaner environment.

The event was flagged off by GM, in-charge of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh state office, IOCL U P Singh, Arjuna awardee badminton player Pullela Gopichand and officer of Indian oil. The event witnessed around 200 employees along with their families from city based units of Indian Oil who participated to create awareness on cleanliness by displaying placards and banners.

The programme concluded with cleaning up the venue and surrounding places. In order to promote the swachh bharat mission, all the units of Indian oil from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh actively engaged in the cleanliness drive to reach out the public through various programs including competitions for employees, students in schools and residential colonies.
