Get ready to enthral your taste buds with a perfect choice of Veg and non-veg menu as ‘Telangana Food Festival’ at Mercure is recreating the magic Telangana cuisine with a confluence of spices and use of fresh ingredients. With its rustic flavours and earthy charm, the food festival is bound to instigate feelings of nostalgia.
Executive Chef T Vinay Kumar has curated the menu for the food promotion. The must have dishes at the fest are Vonkaya Pachi Pulusu (traditional Telangana dish made of brinjal), Dosakai Royalla Igguru (sun melon prawn curry), Gongura Chicken Curry, Chintachiguru Mamsam (mutton curry cooked with tamarind leaves), Mokka Jonna Vepudu (babycorn fry).
Delight yourself with an authentic recreation of some of the most relished dishes from the State including Sarvapindi, Sakinalu, Pachipulusu, Gatka, Bagaarannam, Korrala Payasam and Bakshyalu. Highlighting the rich heritage of the region, Dinesh Rai, General Manager, Mercure Hyderabad KCP says, “Classic Telangana food is a quintessential blend of robust yet delicate flavours comprising of many textures and is unique from other culinary traditions of India.
Paying a tribute to the State formation day, we have introduced ‘The Telangana Food Festival’ with an objective to introduce our guests to the distinct, vibrant and traditionally charged delights from various regions of the State”. The ‘Taste of Telangana’ food festival will continue till June 15, every day, 7.00 pm onwards at Cayenne Restaurant, Mercure Hyderabad KCP.
