The All India Industrial Exhibition-2018 ‘Numaish’ has been a great attraction with more than five lakh people visiting the exhibition in the last 20 days. While the private stall owners at Numaish are witnessing heavy rush at their stall, the government stalls are leaving no stone unturned too.

Nampally: The All India Industrial Exhibition-2018 ‘Numaish’ has been a great attraction with more than five lakh people visiting the exhibition in the last 20 days. While the private stall owners at Numaish are witnessing heavy rush at their stall, the government stalls are leaving no stone unturned too.

Around 2,500 stalls have been allotted to various exhibitors including the State and Central government departments and other manufacturers from various parts of the country.

Apart from private stalls, some of the government stalls include Telangana Minorities Residential Schools, Telangana Tourism, Hyderabad Traffic police, Health department, Telangana State Legal Services Authority, Hindustan Petroleum gas, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and other departments of State and Central government.

Irfan from Telangana Minorities Residential Schools stall at Numaish said that from past two years, the government is providing free education and hostel facility for the students from Class five. He said that there are 204 English medium schools and two junior colleges, and we have got a good response from the visitors. Nearly 100 admissions are taken at exhibition till date for the next academic year.

Yakub, in-charge for legal services said, “We provide free legal aid for people in dealing with any kind of case. We provide a free advocate service for poor people.
In-charge, Department of Health, Medical and Family Welfare, Rajeshwar Reddy said that they have received good response from the visitors especially on weekends and holidays. They are also providing free diabetes test for visitors.

He also said that we explain people about health awareness and various schemes started by the State government.

Hyderabad Traffic Police in-charge of police stall at Numaish said that we are educating people with the traffic rules. “We also explain them regarding the new penalty points and various other traffic laws to avoid traffic jams and accidents,” he said and added that they also explain them about road safety especially for children and senior citizens.
