Quthbullapur: Congress leaders and activists led by former MLA Kuna Srisailam Goud set Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s effigy on fire here on Monday. The protests were staged following the Chief Minister’s remarks against TPCC President N Uttam Kumar Reddy.
Srisailam Goud criticised K Chandrashekar Rao for not being thankful to Congress, which was instrumental in realising statehood to Telangana. Congress supporters Khaza Miya, Bucchi Reddy, Balappa, Gubbala Lakshminarayana and others were present.
