Civic staff raze down shed

Tandur: Municipal officials demolished a shed belonging to the State president of Young Leaders Rohit Reddy here at Raghavendra Colony on Friday. Followers of Rohit Reddy resisted officials for some time and police took them into custody.

Speaking to The Hans India, Municipal Commissioner Bhogishvarlu said that officials discharged their duty as there was no permission for constructing the shed. Rohit Reddy condemned the act of official. “I applied for permission six months ago. But officials are deliberately delaying the sanctioning of permission to construct a house in my own site. I tried to construct a temporary structure,” he said. He alleged that officials are acting at the behest of ruling TRS party leaders.
