MEPMA donates umbrellas to community workers
Community organisers and resource persons working at Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA) under Siddipet Municipality were presented umbrellas by the Municipal Commissioner Srinivas Reddy and Chairman K Rajanarsu on Tuesday to keep them unaffected from the scorching sun and heat waves while they are at field visits in the wards.
Siddipet: Community organisers and resource persons working at Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA) under Siddipet Municipality were presented umbrellas by the Municipal Commissioner Srinivas Reddy and Chairman K Rajanarsu on Tuesday to keep them unaffected from the scorching sun and heat waves while they are at field visits in the wards.
The umbrellas were sponsored by an NGO and MEPMA town mission co-ordinator Sai Krishna and other staff participated in the programme. Earlier, the drainages at old bus stand which was clogged due to the heavy rain last night in the town, was cleared by the staff of sanitation department in the presence of Municipal Commissioner Srinivas Reddy and Sanitary Inspector Sathya Narayana on Tuesday morning.
