Mudraboina assures drinking water from ‘Mission Bhagiratha’
Local corporator Mudraboina Srinivasa Rao assured drinking water from Mission Bhagiratha to Lingojiguda Old Village residents when they submitted a memorandum to him on Tuesday.

The villagers have been protesting for years for clean drinking water. People living in and around Lingojiguda have had to depend on water tankers. Raghu Palvai, a resident said, “The people of the village have high hopes and have been waiting for a change especially after the TRS government came to power.
The corporator said that new underground drainage(UGD) lines were laid in some parts of the old village and works related to new UGD lines in other parts would be started at the earliest.
He also assured to lay pipes lines to supply drinking water from Mission Bhagiratha to each and every house. TRSKV secretary N Srinivas, Area committee members Parshwapu Sridhar and Sarala, Basthi residents Vanitha, Kalavathi, Madhavi, Jangamma, Mysamma, Anasuya were present.
