New Manjeera lines at Krishna Nagar
The residents of Krishna Nagar have something to cheer about. On Thursday, the local corporator, Golluri Anjaiah inspected the works and instructed the contractors to hasten the process as the summer is at its peak.

The works are being undertaken at a cost of Rs 20 lakh and would help about 10,000 people living in Krishna Nagar Colony in the 1-8 streets. The works are expected to be completed by the end of the month. The Manjeera water would be sourced from the main tank at Housing Board Colony.
The corporator is taking personal interest in the project as the locals submitted a representation for the speedy works. He said, “We want this to become a model division and do not want any lethargy in any of the workers and staff at any level.”
