Hyderabad: 11years ago on May 24, five running enthusiasts decided to formally christen their love for running by creating Hyderabad Runners at KBR park.
Fuelled by their passion to promote fitness through running and making it as a preferred form of fitness activity for an active lifestyle, Hyderabad Runners today has more than 5,000 members and are mainly known in the country for its signature Hyderabad Marathon event and other kids and corporate running programmes.
A group of versatile runners from the zestful youth to the experienced veterans came together on Sunday morning at Sanjeevaiah Park to commemorate the occasion of Hyderabad Runner's 11th anniversary. The 11km run was followed by cake cutting and an oath-taking to continue their commitment towards running and fitness while also inspiring others to do the same.
