Six students studying in TMREIS (Telangana Minority Residential Educational Institutions Society) who were selected for a project will be leaving for NASA, USA on May 22.

Hyderabad: Six students studying in TMREIS (Telangana Minority Residential Educational Institutions Society) who were selected for a project will be leaving for NASA, USA on May 22.

Secretary, TMREIS, B Shafiullah stated that students created history by getting nominated for participation in the Annual ‘International Space Development Conference (lSDC) 2018’ for presenting their project on ‘FUSION L5’. It is the first government school in Telangana to get students nomination from NASA, USA.

Syed Ibrahim Ali (IX-Hayathnagar), Mahaveen Mohammedi (VIII-Golconda), Safa Maheen (X-Ibrahimpatnam), Feroz Hussain (VIII-Gajwel Boys), Muskaan Tabassum (IX-Gajwel Girls), Feroz Ahmed (IX-Serilingampally) were selected during the month of February for their concept paper on FUSION L5.

“Their concept was appreciated by NASA authorities and they were invited to present their module in Annual International Space Development Conference (lSDC) 2018, being held at NASA, United States from May 23 - 27, in presence of renowned Scientists from across the globe,” informed Shafiuallah, who will be accompanying them on the tour. Students along with Katherine Hadda, Consulate General, USA Consulate, Hyderabad.
