“We have already heard of this being successfully implemented in Hauz Khas Lake in Delhi and have relicated it here. It is fetching good results,” said Madhulika Choudary of Dhruvansh, an NGO. Water pollution now has eco-friendly solution. These constructed wetlands act as a natural purifier. The plants which are compatible in water systems it absorbs Phosphates, Nitrates and other heavy metals.

Madhulika Choudary founder of Dhruvansh said, “It’s a great honour to receive an award from International organisation Rotary club. This is one of the oldest and respected social service clubs of India. Now days Environment needs everybody’s attention but still environment took back seat in peoples mind.

In such era, Rotary club understood my work and importance of lake conservation and management and Protection of Biodiversity. Until unless big organizations come forward to protect our lakes n biodiversity, it would be difficult to expect any change. Environment now does not only belongs to environment sciences or engineers.

Environment is now field of every person as we all take oxygen, water, food ,soil from environment plus equally responsible in polluting it. Rotary club Award for Excellency to me and my organisation shows big concern towards ecosystem n environment.”
