Hospital building becomes den for anti-social elements

Tandur: The waiting hall of Primary Health Center at Basheerabad built at a cost of Rs 7.50 lakh has become a center of activity for the anti-social elements as the hospital authorities have failed to make good use of the building.

The building was built for the benefit of the mother and her just-born child and her relations taking rest. The then MLA Mahender Reddy inaugurated it. As the local health center officials paid no attention to it, it became a center of activity for the anti-social elements.

The health center officials should swing into action and use the building for the hospital purposes. When The Hans India sought clarification from the Vikarabad District Medical and Health Officer Dr Dasaradh, he clarified that the building remained idle as it was located at a far off place from the hospital. He maintained that the building would be brought to use for the benefit of the expectant mothers and lactating mothers.
