• Two women seeking alms in Yakutpura area are suspected of being child-lifters
• The residents inform Rein Bazar police about them
• Police rush to the scene and take them into custody
• Enquiries reveal that they were residents of Chandrayangutta
• They provide Aadhar and other documents to prove their innocence
• Police let off the beggars after all enquiries prove that they were innocent

Even as the rumours continue to spread on social media about the kidnapping gangs, two women from Chandrayangutta who were found to be suspicious by residents of Yakutpura informed the police during the morning hours on Monday. They informed the Reiz Bazaar police about them, who immediately rushed to the scene and police personnel took them into custody.

When enquired they were found to be residents of Chandrayangutta, who had Aadhar card copies and also informed about having own house. They informed police that they were staying in Chandrayangutta for the past 20 years and left their residence to collect alms in view of Ramzan. Their family members were immediately informed and after the police received satisfactory answers they were let-off.

Rein Bazaar police informed that on the instructions of the City Police Commissioner, they conducted public awareness program on social media rumours at Murtuza Chaman on Sunday. All the mosques in the limits were covered as part of the campaign on educating about being aware of the rumours. Meanwhile Malakpet police also conducted awareness programme regarding fake social media rumours at Moosarambagh area.
