YLF moves High Court to secure permission for public meeting

Vikarabad: The Hyderabad High Court has to intervene to overrule the denial of permission to Young Leaders’ Foundation (YLF) president Pilot Rohit Reddy for holding the foundation’s youth wing meeting ‘Yuva Prabhanjana Sabha’ at Chigullapalli grounds here on Thursday.

Earlier, the police gave permission to foundation to convene its meeting but on Tuesday evening it cancelled the permission, apparently succumbing to pressure tactics of political outfits rival to Rohit Reddy. Therefore, Rohit Reddy was forced to move the high court on Wednesday morning securing court order infavour of holding the meeting.

Describing the incident as, Rohit Reddy, who briefed the media, said that ultimately the justice prevailed. The Young Leaders’ Foundation sides with the people in an attempt to redress their problems, he said putting the blame on the ruling TRS party leaders in the district have conspired to prevent him from holding the meeting.

He maintained that the ruling party leaders in the district are putting hurdles on the path of the YLF unable to stomach its growth. Constitution provides for any individual to float an outfit to serve the people, he said describing the objective of the YLF to serve the people especially the youthy.

But the ruling party leaders unable to stomach its growth are resorting to measures like foisting flase cases against the organisation and making attempts to get the organisation’s registration cancelled. He exhorted the people to take part in the Thursday’s meetings in large numbers and make the programme a grand success.
