The contractors left the repaired roads without finishing the works like filling potholes and recarpeting of the exposed parts of the roads. And the GHMC officials are not fining the contractors for such shoddy work. The engineering wing of the GHMC took up a rain water canal repair work in Ambika Nagar near Pocahamma temple to Patelnagar junction. After laying the new pipeline, they did not fill up the dug-out road after repair work was done, eventually many potholes developed on the stretch.
