YLF to embark on post card, signature campaigns soon

Tandur: Young Leaders’ Foundation (YLF) president Pilot Rohit Reddy on Monday termed merging Vikarabad district with Jogulamba zone demonstrates negligence of the rulers towards development of the district and maintained that the YLF would launch another agitation to ensure that the district is merged with the Charminar zone.

Addressing media here, he said that the decision would cause severe injustice to the posterity. Also, he referred to how injustice was done to Vikarabad district while carving out of new districts. A cabinet note has already been prepared on the issue of zones, while the TRS leaders deny it and went on record stating that they are striving to merge the district with Charminar zone.

The YLF would embark on a post-card campaign to ensure that the district is merged with Charminar zone and sent postcards to the President of India. He also said that the youth and employees would be sensitised on the adverse impact of merger of the district with Jogulamba district zone. He demanded the local leaders, who have been running the affairs of the district for the past two and half years, to step down or render justice to the district by merging it with the Charminar zone.

He exhorted all people cutting across their political affiliations to cooperate with the YLF in its signature campaign. A signature campaign would soon be launched at the grassroots level soon, he added. YLF leaders Muralikrishna Goud, Riyaaz, Feroze Khan, Srinivas, Vinod and others were present.
