NSS Cell of JNTU-H distributes notebooks to poor students
As part of its programmme of distributing one lakh notebooks to poor students of some selected government schools, the NSS wing of JNTU Hyderabad on Thursday provided them in the government high school at Raj Bhavan Road. The books were manufactured in the university printing press after recycling the left-over answer-sheets.

University VC Dr A Venugopal reddy, Registrar Dr N Yadayya, Director of Evaluation Dr Kamakshi Prasad, NSS Coordinator Dr P Samuel, DEO Venkatanarsamma, school principal M Samuel Raj, NSS programme officers and volunteers were present. Addressing the students, the VC explained how he had come up in life after studying in a government school. He said the NSS cell would take up distribution of notebooks in various government schools until June 20.
