Youth aged over 18 told to compulsorily enroll as voters

Malkajgiri: Additional Commissioner K Venugopal on Thursday called upon youth aged over 18 years to compulsorily enroll as voters.

Addressing a meeting of supervisory officers in the circle office as part of the special summer revision of voters’ list (SSR-2018), he said the change of address and missing names of voters should be brought to the notice of officials without fail.

Special counters would be set up every Monday in the circle office to register voters till the month-end, even while the staff continues their house-to-house visits. As part of the exercise, the booth-level officers are visiting every house to register voters, the AC stated.
