Participating in the Atmeeya Sammelan of the policemen and their family members held at the Begumpet police station here, he along with DCP Sumati got themselves clicked photos with the families of police personnel. They explained the weapons used by the police to the young and old. He went round the police station and explained everyone how a complaint is registered in the police station.
Employees of other government departments celebrate festivals with their family members with the exception of the police who discharge their duty under stressful conditions to enable the festivals go off smoothly. People of society are sleeping peaceful only because of the police, he said adding that all personnel in the police department right from the constable officer to the highest-ranking officer should feel proud to become a policeman.
