The programme is being organised for the under privileged students from the remote villages of Karimnagar, Kurnool, Sangareddy, Kadapa etc., through Indo-German Institute of Advanced Training Under Powergrid
Hyderabad: V Sekhar, Executive Director, Powergrid, inaugurated a skill development programme on “Solar Panel Maintenance Technician Training “, here at the Ultimate Energy Resource Pvt. Ltd., on Monday. The programme is being organised for the under privileged students from the remote villages of Karimnagar, Kurnool, Sangareddy, Kadapa etc., through Indo-German Institute of Advanced Training Under Powergrid’s CSR project.
Powergrid, under its CSR initiative is spending more than Rs one crore towards skill development in various disciplines like, CNC machine operator, welding technology, solar panel maintenance, home appliances service, site and survey supervisor, building services, retails associates, four-wheeler mechanic and industrial sewing machine operator for ladies in association with IGIAT, Visakhapatnam in the States of A.P. and Telangana to generate employment for rural youth. Powergrid also signed an MoU with NAC, Hyderabad to provide skill development programmes for the youth in Telangana rural areas.
