Tandur: Vikarabad district BJP secretary on Wednesday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for announcing the minimum support price (MSP) for various crop for the benefit of the farmer and described the decision as unique.
Responding on the Center announcement of the MSP, he said the Center fixed the MSP to ensure maximum advantage to the farmer. It announced the MSP for paddy, maize, cotton, red gram, black gram, groundnut, sun flower, soya bean and other millet crops. The MSP is far better than the state government’s RBS scheme. The MSP would end the travails of farmers and bring profit to the farmer, he said.
