Quthbullapur: Demanding regular wages to workers CPI(M) leaders staged dharna at project site of 2BHK houses at Timmaiguda on Thursday.
Mandal secretary E Narsimha alleged that contractor of the project Vijaya Raju brought 25 workers from West Bengal and without settling their dues he was sending them out from the project site. Out of Rs 8 lakh only Rs 4 lakh was paid, he said. Narsimha warned the contractor to settle due within two days, otherwise they would lodge a complaint to district Collector.
