Health camp, awareness programme on Malaria prevention held

East Anandbagh: Local corporator Akula Narsimha Rao, along with ward member Satyanarayana and Assistant Entomologist Anil Kumar, inaugurated free health camp and awareness programme on Malaria prevention, here on Wednesday.
The camp was organised by Greater Hyderabad Municipality Corporation (GHMC) in association with District Medical Health Department. The Officials concerned toured the colonies and identified the malaria prone places. They explained the illness of the malaria and asked the residents to clean the areas which are feasible to mosquito mushroom. Later, the health department officials held checkup for as many as 152 people in the colony and distributed medicines accordingly. Colony president Somaiah, Medical officer Saritha, health centre staff Satyamma, Malaria section staff Praksha and other were present.
