Speaking after distributing saris, essential items and fruits to elderly women, widows and deserted persons at an orphanage in Premnagar, to mark his 30th wedding anniversary, Rao said that his gesture should motivate others to come forward and take up similar activities. He expressed happiness that he could celebrate the day in an orphanage amid the presence of many people.
Corporator Puli Jagan was the chief guest. An electrical engineer, Rao has been taking up social service activities, like distributing clothes, money and essential items, after setting up the foundation and celebrating his birthday with orphans.
