Dalit bodies demand rollback of externment order on Kathi

Himayathnagar: Several Dalit Sangham social workers’ associations on Wednesday, while demanding immediate withdrawal of externment order by the police on film critic Kathi Mahesh spoke out against Hindu community for targeting him.

Addressing a press conference on behalf of the associations, Jerusalem Mathayya found fault with people of other castes speaking ill of Swamy Parapurnananda in the process hurting his sentiments. He observed that by placing restriction on both Mahesh and Parapurnananda the Telangana DGP had landed in a controversy. The DGP should have taken legal advice before taking action against Mahesh, Mathayya felt. He said the associations were against expulsion of every person who speaks out.
