Ramachadrapuram: A newborn baby girl was found in a garbage site behind BDL Apartments in 111 Division of GHMC in Ramachandrapuram town in Sangareddy district by the sanitation workers of the town after hearing the bawling of the baby in the morning hours on Wednesday.

The foundling was immediately taken to the local ESI hospital where the baby was attended by the Paediatric Dr Renuka and provided first aid to the infant. As the baby girl was weighing only 2 kg, the doctors sent it to Patancheru Area Hospital for better treatment with the help of Ramachandrapuram (Cyberabad) SI Saidulu. The doctors at the hospital said the functioning of the vital organs of the baby was normal and the condition was stable after it was put in the ICU for observation.
