Hyderabad: Telangana State Pollution Control Board Member-Secretary P Satyanarayan Reddy on Wednesday warned of taking stringent action against those industries causing air pollution. He announced that seven teams comprising an environmental engineer of the board and scientists would be constituted to look into complaints of air pollution caused by the industries. The teams would secure samples for analysis. Reddy stated that a mobile vehicle of the board would also collect samples for analysis.

The board member-secretary said steps would be taken against the industries for causing pollution considering the analysis reports after the task force conducts a hearing. Inspections and searches would be intensified in an attempt to check pollution, he warned.

Reddy informed this after inspecting Intonation Research Lab, Clear Synth, Srini Labs, GRK Labs, Vagdevi Innoscience, GVK Bio (located in Mallapur and Nacharam), Infogent Labs along with officials of the board. Reddy went around the air pollution equipment in GVK Bio and Infogent Labs.
