Thanks to the negligence of the officials. The hospital perhaps remained untouched by the sweeping changes occurring all around. The sign board in front of the hospital displays the name Andhra Pradesh Vaidya Vidhana Parishad and below it featured the name District Hospital, Tandur. The board says that the District Hospital is still affiliated to AP Vaidya Vidhana Parishad.
Did the hospital authorities know that the Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad came into existence on the same day as that of the new state? It reflects the lackadaisical attitude of the officials. The people, attendants of patients and visitors to the hospital are astonished at the ways of the bureaucracy. Will the officials take steps at least now to correct the mistake on the hospital name board?
