Parigi: A free dental camp was organised at Crawn’s Play School here on Wednesday by Dentist Dr Raghavendra Rao. The school Management distributed tooth brushes and tooth-paste to the students free of cost.
Speaking in connection with the event, Dr Rao expressed concern over dental problems surfacing among the children because of their love for eating chocolates and ice-creams. They are ignorant about the attendant problems that might crop up later.
They don’t know how to clean the teeth properly. Laying emphasis on parents’ role, he said that the parents keep a watchful eye on children while they are brushing. In fact, they should teach them how to brush their teeth, he said. Principal Archana Srinivas, teacher Kavita, TRS leader Anusha and others took part in the programme.
