Secunderabad: As many as 200 Gandhi Hospital outsourcing nursing staff staged protest against Medical Superintendent and Nursing Superintendent, here on Monday. They alleged that the duo were harassing in issuing service certificates to them. Outsourcing nursing staff boycotted their duties and staged protest in front of the hospital.
Speaking on the occasion, AITUC nursing union president M Narsimha said that officials of the hospital were playing games with the lives of outsourcing staff. He alleged that Superintendent of the hospital was not issuing service certificates to staff. Narsimha said that the Nursing staff had been working for 11 years and urged higher officials to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Nursing Union leaders B Meghamala, D Upendra, B Pramila, V Madhulatha, Sudha and Aarogyamma participated in the programme.
