Sangareddy: Major Irrigation Minister Harish Rao on Friday instructed officials to conduct Kanti Velugu programme without lapses. He was addressing review meeting attended by Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy, undivided Medak district MLAs, MLCs and district collectors.
The state wide programme will launch on August 15. It will last for six months. Free eye tests, spectacles, if necessary surgeries will be conducted to patients at free of cost at 114 hospitals in the state. Harish Rao said that one mandal level officer will be appointed for seven villages to conduct it properly.
