Zara hatke, Zara bach ke Manholes are open in Nizam Colony

Tolichowki: The recently recarpeted lane between Meraj Colony and Nizam Colony is posing danger to the life of the residents as the contractor left the manhole without covers.

Over five manholes in the area are open for a tragedy to happen especially during the night time.

There are many schools in the area, children cross the road every day.
The manholes were dug open about a month ago but thereafter no covers were laid and the situation continues to remain the same.

Pedestrians and motorists face danger while negotiating this lane.

“GHMC initiated the works and thereafter, it left them unattended for weeks until the residents complain for several times,” said Mohammed, a local resident.
