Officials asked to complete tree plantation drive

Medchal: District Revenue Officer Vijaya Kumari directed the officials to speed up the 4th phase of Telanganaku Haritha Haram programme to reach target, in review meeting held at collectarate here on Monday.

Speaking at the meeting, Vijaya Kumari said that for the past four days the rains have been lashing the state. She asked the officials to complete the rest of the plantation of saplings as early as possible so that they can reach target before the stipulated time. The plantation of saplings would be easy as heavy rainfall in the district, she added.

Later, Vijaya Kumari asked the officials to make sure all arrangements for the Independence Day without any delay. She hoped that the cultural activities would as usual in the programme.
