Siddipet: A Swachh Survekshan awareness rally was taken out in Guggilla village under the aegis of the Bala Vikas Seva Santha on Monday. The purpose of the rally is to educate people on adhering to personal hygiene, should desist from throwing away garbage on roads, prevent drainage water from getting contaminated, planting of saplings, including on farm bunds.
The rally called for united efforts by panchayat officials, village development committees and people for upkeep of sanitation. It wanted people to use paper flags instead of the plastic flags on account of the Independence Day. Bal Vikas area coordinator E Raja Mouli and others took part in the programme.
