Hyderabad: Independence will become meaningful only if benefits of government welfare schemes reach everyone in the society, observed Telangana State Pollution Control Board (TSPCB) member-secretary G Satyanarayan Reddy, after hoisting the national flag in the office and garlanding Mahatma Gandhi’s portrait.

Addressing the staff, he stated that as government employees play a crucial role in the country’s development they should work with commitment and devotion and strive for its further progress. While under-lining the role of Pollution Control Boards in development, Reddy advised the employees to be sincere in getting a good name to the organisation. He recalled that the board was given a State-level award in 2017. Among those present were chief environmental engineer Vishwanatham, senior administrative manager Padmasri, Ramesh Gupta, Nagesh, scientists.
