Quthbullapur: Local legislator KP Vivekanand stressed on the importance of encouraging sports. He presented awards to winners of Independence Day Badminton Tournament conducted by Kalpana Society Welfare Association (KSWA) on Thursday.
He said sports help one to be fit both physically and mentally. He appreciated the organisers on the occasion. Former corporator Boddu Venkateshwara Rao, KSWA president Purusotham, Poornachander Rao, VV Ramana, Ramu Naidu, M Yadagiri and others were present.
