Charminar: Corporator, Pathergatti, Syed Sohail Quadri along with Assistant City Planner GHMC, P Srinivas and other officials surveyed the total area of Pathergatti division before taking up the road widening works.
The survey started from Dewan Devdi Kaman near Madina Building main road via Chatta Bazar to Purani Haveli X Roads, as road will be widened in this area in the coming months. The corporator said that in the coming days the local MLA and other Corporators will also be conducting Paidal Daura (Padayatra) as part of developmental works in this part of Old City.
“There will be more road-widening in the surroundings of Charminar for solving the huge traffic problems in these areas. In a recent meeting MIM floor leader, Akbaruddin Owaisi questioned the delay in the developmental works and pending projects in the area during a meeting with the officials. Hence GHMC officials have come up with a road widening plan in Old City, particularly in the surrounding areas of the historic Charminar”, said Quadri.
