sixHyderabad: Six daily wage workers were injured, three of them seriously, in a wall collapse while they tried to dig a cellar in a building at Mansoorabad, L B Nagar on Sunday. According to LB Nagar police, Ramulu (50), Ramesh (28), Lakshmamma (45), Mahesh (38), Manjula (40) and an unidentified person of Mahbubnagar were engaged in digging for cellar construction in the building. The adjacent wall fell on them resulting in injuries. Local residents informed the police and the workers were admitted in Kamineni Hospital in LB Nagar. They are said to be in critical condition. The condition of other workers was stable, a hospital spokesperson said. Ranga Reddy (East) RDO Surya Rao supervised the rescue operations. He said that the cost of treatment of the injured would be met by the government. Local corporator K Latha Narsimha Reddy handed over cash of Rs 20,000 to victim's family.
