Simmering discontent among the Seemandhra staff, over the CWC decision to bifurcate state manifested in protests that

continue to roil the city. And not to lag behind, Telangana outfits too have sharpened their arsenal and are busy holding various vociferous protests for speedy bifurcation of the State.
Hyderabad: The face-off between Seemandhra and Telangana employees post Congress Working Committee’s decision to bifurcate the State continued even on Monday at Vidyut Soudha near Khairtabad. Employees from both regions held protests during lunch hour.
Tension prevailed for some time with the arrival of Visalandhra Mahasabha leader Parakala Prabhaker. Telangana employees raised slogans against Prabhaker asking him to go back from their office premises. However, police intervened and allowed the integrationist leader to attend the Seemandhra employees dharna on the other side of the state electricity department headquarters.
Parakala Prabhaker informed that he would hold ‘Samaikyatha Yatras’ in all the twenty three districts of the State.On the other hand, Sircilla legislator K Tarakarama Rao took part in the protest programme organised by Telangana electricity employees JAC in front of Vidyut Soudha main gate. He lashed out at Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy for misleading people of Telangana on power issue.“Kiran Reddy did not even respond to an open debate challenge thrown by TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao on power issue,” KTR added.
Taking exception to demand for making Hyderabad as a union territory, he questioned Samaikyandha protagonists whether they would agree for making Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati and other cities in Seemandhra region as UTs
