‘Chaduvukovali’ (Be Educated), a Telugu movie has been sent for the consideration of Film Federation of India (FFI) for nomination to prestigious Oscar Award from India this year. FFI would screen nearly 20 nominations (movies) from different languages and finally pick up one among them and send it to Oscar from India. Chaduvukovali is the nomination from Tollywood and has to vie with 19 other movies.

Hyderabad : ‘Chaduvukovali’ (Be Educated), a Telugu movie has been sent for the consideration of Film Federation of India (FFI) for nomination to prestigious Oscar Award from India this year. FFI would screen nearly 20 nominations (movies) from different languages and finally pick up one among them and send it to Oscar from India. Chaduvukovali is the nomination from Tollywood and has to vie with 19 other movies.
The screening would commence from September 17. SS Rajamouli’s graphic-studded wonder Eega was sent from Telugu last year but lost to Hindi flick ‘Burfi’ in the final race. Chaduvukovali, produced by senior journalist Maddali Venkateswara Rao last year, has already won critical acclaim for its theme and narration. The film was shot with the inspiration of Malala Yousafzai, a Pakistani pupil who defied the Taliban diktat and continued her educational pursuit, according to Venkateswara Rao.
