Samaikya Rashtra Samiti to fight for cause of united state

Hyderabad: A new political party christened as Samaikya Rashtra Samiti (SRS) will be launched soon. A doctor from Vijayawada, Dr Viswanadham, has filed an application for launching the party with the Election Commission of India on Tuesday.

Efforts are on to invite Kiran Bedi to inaugurate the party. According to Viswanadham, he along with a few others have decided to float a new party which would be dedicated to the people of Seemandhra region who have been agitating to keep the state united for past 41 days. He said all the political parties have become family parties and none is bothered about the common man. As corruption scaled new heights both in the State and at Centre, they thought of launching a new party which would be a people’s party, he said.

Viswanadham said the Commission may allocate the party symbol in a day or two. He lashed out at the political parties in the State for pushing it into a state of crisis during last one decade for narrow and selfish gains. He said the SRS would fight to keep the state united, he added.
