Hyderabad: Commenting on the Union Minister Kishore Chandra Deo’s letter, APNGOs president P Ashok Babu asserted that people of Seemandhra were ready to have a dialogue over the issue of bifurcation with Centre, but not with a committee formed under the political patronage.
Speaking to mediapersons, at APNGOs Bhavan he said that as pointed out by the Union Minister the agitation which was started on July 31 was continuing peacefully. Even the much challenged meeting was conducted peacefully on September7. “We shall continue our protests in a non-violent way until a solution is found,” he noted.
Condemning the arrests of Vidyut JAC convenor, Sai Baba and others for their ongoing 72-hour strike, he described this as continuation of persecution after the Seemandhra advocates were barred from protesting near High Court. “When the leaders representing a region cannot have security, how can a common man expect the same? The sense of security can only be possible in a unified AP,” the leader maintained.

He said that the united-Andhra women agitators would hold rallies on September 14, in addition to the protests.
