Komatireddy: some coverts in T Cong ministers

Hyderabad: Former Minister and Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Monday charged Congress leaders from Nalgonda district of playing a dual game in regard to the issue of separate Telangana. Speaking to mediamen Congress Legislative Party office, Reddy alleged that there were some coverts among the T ministers. They attend the meetings in support of separate statehood in the morning and meet the Chief Minister in the evening, he said.

Though he did not name any minister, the comments garnered importance since they came soon after N Uttam Kumar Reddy met Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday. He further charged the T ministers from the district of having done nothing to achieve the statehood of Telangana and expressed concern over the delay in the process of carving separate State. He said it was unfortunate that things have not moved forward though the announcement was made 45 days back.

He found fault with T ministers for maintaining silence while the Seemandhra leaders led by Chief Minister were making all efforts to stall the T process. This delay in taking the process forward was resulting in despair among youth in the Telangana and some were even resorted to suicides, he added.
