Hyderabad is known for its busy traffic and congested roads. But, it has been a usual practice that the roads become virtually wide and free during the Sankranthi season, every year. This year, such an occurrence happened once again in Hyderabad. Wondering why? It is due to the Tuesday Intensive Household Survey in Telangana state.
Most of the employees and their families who originally hail from the 10 districts of Telangana were on their way back to their respective places to participate in the ibid survey. Also, the closed holiday declared by the state government has been an added advantage.
For obvious reasons, the roads turned virtually wide and free. On these busy roads, at least for a day, the roads became wide and free making the passersby the road feel a sigh of relief.
