Drone cameras, life-size LED displays, ultra HD 4K camcorders, photo printed scarves and a vast gamut of printing and lighting equipment and accessories form the cynosure of the photo trade show at Jalavihar. Dubbed as ‘Hyderabad’s Biggest Photo Trade Exhibition’, the expo aims to provide a platform to number of groups and photographers’ associations in Telangana.

Nearly 80 companies including the likes of Canon, Epson, Panasonic, Sony and many other resellers, distributors and brand representatives have lined up their best products to showcase technological advancements and imaging machinery to photographers, videographers and imaging enthusiasts during the three-day expo. 250 members of different associations of photographers from across the State are participating in the event.

The exhibition aims to espouse the professionals with the advancement of equipment and machinery used in photography and videography. At the same time, we have ensured that all relevant facets of photo trade reflect in the diversity of exhibits we have organised’, said Ramesh, one of the organisers of the expo.

From rich-tone printers to remote-controlled cameras, highly powerful camera lenses, condenser and wireless microphones, tripods, storage devices and custom-printed smartphone cases, almost everything in vogue is on display.

NFC-enabled camcorders, powerful camera lenses, tripods, storage accessories, swanky jewel box photo albums with a choice of transparent, glittery or embossed prints, custom-printed collection of mugs, bespoke wooden photo frames, a plethora of album printing machinery and photo printing and lighting equipment comprised some of the interesting exhibits.

The trade show reportedly drew about 10,000 visitors on its maiden day and 15,000 visitors on the second day with more visitors expected on the closing ceremony.

Jadhav Sai Krishna, a first year student of Rachana College of Journalism, exclaimed, “This is the best collection of different photography equipment I have seen so far. Such expos can help bring awareness among the consumers on what’s in style and what’s the best device or brand to invest in for personal or professional use.”
