Water supply in Hyderabad to be affected tomorrow
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) has informed that due to Electrical Panels extension from Krishna Phase-II to Krishna Phase-III on December on Thursday, a three to five hours shutdown is being taken up and therefore there would be short and delayed water supply in some areas.
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) has informed that due to Electrical Panels extension from Krishna Phase-II to Krishna Phase-III on December on Thursday, a three to five hours shutdown is being taken up and therefore there would be short and delayed water supply in some areas.
The areas in Krishna Phase – II (Ring Main-I) to be affected are Saheb Nagar Reservoir areas, Balapur Reservoir areas, Mailardevpally, Rajendranagar, Hyderguda, Kishanbagh, Asifnagar, Prashashan Nagar Reservoir areas, Madhapur, Gachibowli and Part of Lingampally Reservoir areas.
The areas under Krishna Phase – II (Ring Main – II) are Ring Main II consisting of Marredpally Reservoir areas of West Marredpally, Sithaphalmandi, Bhoiguda, Rezimental Bazaar and Tarnaka and Lalapet reservoir and control room areas of cantonment, MES & Railways, Moulali Reservoir areas, Nacharam, Ellugutta Reservoir areas, Sainikpuri reservoir, Kailashgiri reservoir and Chanakyapuri reservoir areas. The HMWS&SB has requested the customers to store drinking water in advance to avoid any inconvenience. (INN)
