SCR to run 10 Sankranti specials
The South Central Railway (SCR) is planning for two premium superfast special trains between Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam and eight special trains between Secunderabad-Vijayawada keeping in mind the Sankranti festival. Train No 02204 Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam premium AC Superfast Special train would depart from Secunderabad
The South Central Railway (SCR) is planning for two premium superfast special trains between Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam and eight special trains between Secunderabad-Vijayawada keeping in mind the Sankranti festival. Train No 02204 Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam premium AC Superfast Special train would depart from Secunderabad on January 9 (Friday) at 11 pm and arrive at Visakhapatnam at 9:45 the following day.
In the return direction, train No 02203 Visakhapatnam – Secunderabad Premium AC superfast special train would leave Visakhapatnam on January 10 (Saturday) at 9:10 pm and arrive in Secunderabad at 7 am the next day. Enroute, these premium special trains will stop at Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Samalkot and Anakapalle in both the directions.
These trains will have 16 coaches viz, three AC II Tier, eleven AC III Tier and two power car coaches. Advance booking for these premium trains can be done online.
Secunderabad – Vijayawada special train Train No 07208 Secunderabad-Vijayawada special train would depart Secunderabad at 11:15 pm on 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd January (Fridays) and arrive in Vijayawada at 5:45 am the next day. In the return direction, Train No 07207 Vijayawada-Secunderabad special train will depart Vijayawada at 11 pm on 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd January (Thursdays) and arrive in Secunderabad at 5:40 am the next day.
Enroute, these special trains will also stop at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikudi, Pidugurala, Sattenpalle, Guntur and Mangalagiri stations in both the directions. These trains will have 15 coaches viz, one AC II Tier, one AC III Tier, six sleeper class, five general second class and two second class luggage cum brake van coaches.
