Blood donation camp for the benefit of Thalassemia-affected
Dr M Channa Reddy Memorial Trust in association with Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Society conducted a blood donation camp to support children suffering from thalassemia who need blood transfusion every three weeks. The camp was held at Dr M Channa Reddy Memorial Rock Garden, Indira Park, on Tuesday.

The camp was held at Dr M Channa Reddy Memorial Rock Garden, Indira Park, on Tuesday. The camp was conducted on the occasion of the 96th birth anniversary of Dr M Channa Reddy.
More than 30 donors donated blood for the noble cause with people from all walks of life including youth. Awareness about thalassemia, preventive measures, testing, treatment and management related information was shared with hundreds of visitors.
Justice Subhashan Reddy, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Ponala Lakshmiah, MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, Marri Ravinder Reddy, Marri Shashidhar Reddy, Kothapally Sudarshan Reddy, Vasudha Devi, Capt. Panduranga Reddy, Telangana Development Forum (TDF) India president DP Reddy, Dr Narasimha Reddy and others attended the event. Ratnavalli from the Thalassemia Sickle Society thanked all donors, supporters and the Dr M Channa Reddy Memorial Trust.
