Rachnoutsav Academy organised the Inter College Cultural Festival at the Sundarayya Kalabhavan in Baghlingampally.200 participants from 15 colleges including RBVR Women's College, Institute of Hotel Management, St Francis Degree College for Women, St Patricks Degree College, Shri Shakthi College of Hotel Management, Vishwa Vishwani Business School, RG Kedia Degree College and others participated in the programme.

The festival was inaugurated by Rakhi Kankaria, founder chairman of Rachnoutsav Academy. Rakhi said that the festival acted as a platform for showcasing the best talent in Hyderabad and engaging students to exchange ideas and fostering a spirit of healthy competition among the youth.

Jalwa was started with an intention of bringing a holistic approach towards education where the youth can hone communication skills, creativity and innovation and instill self confidence. Some of the activities held during the festival include Spin And Twirl group dance competition which attracted 43 participants where students danced to popular Bollywood numbers and enthralled the audience.

A street play, ‘Nukkad Natak’, was organised where teams from different colleges shared their view on various social and cultural causes and their ideas on finding sustainable solutions. The Zing—had participants showcasing their talents such as dance, mime, singing, mono acting in 90 seconds.

The Fashion Show with the theme Neon Colours and Bling had young boys and girls dressed up emulating the world of fashion bringing a fresh twist with their ideas. The Rachnoutsav will be held every year for BBA and B.Com students studying in colleges affiliated to Osmania University. Jalwa 2015 was organised to mark the 3rd Anniversary of Rachnoutsav Academy.
