City-based designer Shilpa Reddy will join hands with globally renowned model and entrepreneur Jessica Minh Anh for a unique catwalk in New York City, next month, as part of the J Spring Fashion Show 2015. Jessica, who produces the world’s most unconventional catwalks, will introduce a brand new fashion experience along with Shilpa Reddy to the Big Apple on March 19. The duo will transform Hudson River’s giant glass boat into a 100-metre floating runway.

Guests will be seated facing the multi-faceted glass window and watch models walk in front of them using the river as their runway. Thanks to the panoramic view from the boat, New York’s famous skyline and its architectural masterpieces such as the Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty and One World Trade Center will be the backdrop for the sensational catwalk. J Spring Fashion Show 2015 will present a combination of haute couture, high-end ready-to-wear and luxury accessory collections from four continents.

The exclusively selected designers shall embrace tradition, yet experiment with innovative techniques of modern designs. This is the second time Shilpa Reddy will join Jessica Minh Anh. The previous collaboration was on the Eiffel Tower in Paris for the highly successful J Autumn Fashion Show in October 2014.

Shilpa will premier her spring collection ‘Floral Geometry’, which is inspired by the geometry of Ikkat using Pochampally weave for the event. Jessica shares, “I am captivated by Shilpa’s creativity in making her designs look traditional yet modern at the same time. She reinvents cultural embellishments and embroideries with impeccable cuts and clean structures. She makes women look great.”
